Hotel Le Mirage Saint-Basile-le-Grand, Saint-Basile-le-Grand

The hotel is conveniently located next to the new Autoroute Route 30, making it a time-saving choice. The rooms were very clean and cozy, but the service encountered a setback as the air conditioner was turned off unexpectedly. The dining experience left something to be desired with a lack of friendliness among staff. Overall, a decent stay with some minor hiccups.

The hotel is located just outside of Montreal, close to a busy street and train tracks. The rooms provided coffee but weren't as clean as expected, which I assume would be quieter. However, the staff was able to answer questions and concerns we had, although some were terrible rude and not helpful. The location was convenient for the BBQ we attended, eliminating the need to go to the island of Montreal and saving time, but being near the train tracks could be noisy. The dining experience, with a loaf of bread on the counter near a toaster, was over before it started, and the staff wasn't so friendly. The fresh salads were a redeeming feature. The facilities were basic.

During my 3-day stay, the hotel offered clean rooms with adequate facilities, although it is located approximately 25 km away from Montreal. The service was beyond helpful and friendly, although some amenities like the air conditioner were not available due to the end of summer.
